You have several choices about the information PALS Learning Center South Plainfield holds about you or your child. This page explains what those choices are and how to make one.
Your rights
- Access — receive a copy of the personal information we hold about you or your child.
- Correction — ask us to fix information that is wrong.
- Deletion — ask us to delete information we no longer need to hold, subject to legal retention requirements (for example, tax records).
- Withdraw consent — for children’s information, withdraw your consent to further collection or use.
- Marketing opt-out — stop receiving marketing emails from us.
- SMS opt-out — reply STOP to any text message from us.
Global Privacy Control
If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we automatically turn analytics off for your visit — nothing further is required. You can enable GPC in privacy-focused browsers such as Firefox, Brave, and DuckDuckGo, or via browser extensions.
How to make a request
Email palssouthplainfield@gmail.com or call (732) 930-0094. Please include:
- Your full name and, if you are making a request on behalf of a child, the child’s full name.
- The email address or phone number we use to reach you.
- Which right you want to exercise (access, correction, deletion, withdraw consent, marketing opt-out).
- A short description of the information the request relates to.
We may ask you to verify your identity before we act on a request, so that we do not disclose or delete another family’s information by mistake. We will respond to your request within a reasonable time and, in most cases, within 30 days.
Authorized agents
You may authorize another person or attorney to make a request on your behalf. We will ask for written proof of the authorization and may still ask you to verify your identity directly.
If you disagree with our response
Contact us first — most concerns can be resolved directly. You may also raise a concern with the New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs.
