Terms of Service

Last updated: September 19, 2026

These Terms of Service govern your use of https://palssouthplainfield.com (“the Site”) and the tutoring, test-prep, and enrichment services provided by PALS Learning Center South Plainfield (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By using the Site, booking an appointment, or enrolling a child in one of our programs, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of these Terms

You must be at least 18 years old and the parent or legal guardian of the enrolled student, or otherwise legally authorized to consent on the student’s behalf, to book an appointment or enroll a child.

2. Programs and enrollment

Program details on this Site are informational and may change. Enrollment is confirmed when we accept your registration through our student management system and issue an enrollment confirmation. We reserve the right to decline or discontinue enrollment where a program is not the right fit for the student, or where our capacity does not allow.

3. Fees, payment, and refunds

Program fees are the amounts stated on the Site or in your enrollment confirmation, whichever is more recent. Fees are payable in advance unless we have agreed a different schedule in writing.

Refund policy. Please contact us to discuss refunds. Our current refund practice, together with any deposit that is non-refundable, is provided in writing at enrollment.

4. Attendance and make-ups

We ask that families give us at least 24 hours notice of a missed session so we can offer a make-up where scheduling allows. Make-up availability depends on tutor and room availability and is not guaranteed. Sessions missed without notice are not typically eligible for make-up.

5. Conduct at the learning center

Students and family members are expected to treat instructors, staff, and other students with respect, to arrive on time, and to follow the safety and behavior guidelines posted at the center. We may end a session, or withdraw a student from a program, for behavior that is harmful to others or that repeatedly disrupts learning; where we do, we will explain the reason to the parent or guardian.

6. Photo and media release (opt-in)

From time to time we take photos or short videos at events or in class for our records or for promotional use on our website and social media. We only use images of a student for promotion where the parent or guardian has explicitly opted in on the enrollment form. You may revoke consent at any time by contacting us; we will stop new uses of the image and remove existing uses from material we control within a reasonable time.

7. Third-party services and links

Enrollment, scheduling, and course delivery use third-party services including EdQuill CRM. These services have their own terms and privacy policies, which we ask you to review. The Site may also link to other websites (for example, schools and test-prep resources); we are not responsible for the content or practices of those sites.

8. Intellectual property

All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, and course materials — is the property of PALS Learning Center South Plainfield or our licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark law. Enrollment gives students a personal, non-transferable licence to use course materials for their own study; it does not permit redistribution, resale, or use to train commercial systems.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

We deliver our programs with reasonable care and skill, but we cannot guarantee any specific academic outcome, test score, or admission result. The Site and our programs are provided “as is” and “as available,” without any warranty beyond what is required by law.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PALS Learning Center South Plainfield is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Site or our programs. Our total liability for any claim relating to a program is limited to the fees you have paid us for that program in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for personal injury caused by our negligence.

11. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute that cannot be resolved through direct discussion will be brought in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when the most recent change was made. If a change materially affects your rights or our obligations, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you.
